Q: Do you take insurance?
A: As an exclusive, one-on-one coach, my business is not set up to accept insurance at this time.
The following information is completely separate from my practice, and I offer it as a courtesy: Depending on your insurance, you may be eligible for free health coaching through their platform (again, unrelated to my business). For example, some CareFirst Blue Cross/Blue Shield plans offer free coaching with their coaches. I do not know what kind of coaching they provide. Inquire by visiting your insurance's website or by calling the number on the back of your insurance card.
Q: How much do your one-on-one coaching services cost?
A: For a 30-minute phone call or video health visit, the cost is $45.
Q: Are you certified to be a health coach?
A: Yes, I received certification from the accredited Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2023.
Q: What is the role of a health coach?
A: My role as a health coach is to facilitate you reaching your health and wellness goals. Although I do not prescribe medicine or recommend specific supplements or diets, I can educate you about options that exist and encourage you to make any choices for supplements or major health changes in conjunction with your doctor. I listen with the full attention, time, care, and nonjudgment that we often might wish our doctors had time for. My desire is to help you find your best life through creating long-term habits that work specifically for you.
